Dangers | There is a great sand bank - the Goodwin - in the SW of Ramsagte that one must turn round. It is possible to see on it some seals. By NE wind, sailing in the channel nearby the banks can be very tiring.
Warning: the old North breakwater (not the new one) projects near a sand bank. One must largely round it and enter in the middle, even left, of the fairway, especially at low tide. |
